11th July 2003 Windsurfing: Marazion Wind Direction: West Wind Stength: F3-4 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 21 Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Drove down to Cornwall and made good time as travelled on Friday and missed all of Saturdays jams. Sorted out the accomodation early so there was just time to nip across from Hayle to Marazion for an early evening sail. Parked in the car park by the town and sailing club at around 5.30pm. Rigged up my 7.5 and went out on the F2 Thommen. Nice sunny session with flat water just what was needed after a 5 hour drive. There were a couple of other guys out in the distance. The wind dropped off a little and I never really got going. Thought about changing up to the 9.0m but couldn't be bothered so I just went sight seeing. Just nice to be in the water with the sun shining and to sail alongside St Michaels Mount. Three stars for the location and weather! |
